As Dean of Agriculture, it is my privilege to welcome prospective students, esteemed researchers, policymakers, community members, and our loyal alumni to the University Institute of Agriculture. It was the vision of Sant Baba Malkiat Singh Ji that led to the establishment of Sant Baba Bhag Singh Institute of Agriculture, which became a part of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University in 2015. Since then, we have remained committed to addressing the challenges of rural development, sustainable farming, and climate change through education, research, and innovation.
Our mission is to prepare the next generation of agricultural leaders who are equipped with technical expertise, grounded in ethical values, and dedicated to creating practical solutions for the agricultural sector. We are proud to offer a curriculum that integrates cutting-edge research, hands-on training, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Our partnerships with other institutes within Sant Baba Bhag Singh University—such as the University Institute of Sciences, University Institute of Commerce and Management, and University Institute of Engineering and Technology—enable our students to explore diverse opportunities and address agricultural challenges from multiple perspectives.
