As Dean, I am pleased to welcome the prospective students and other website visitors including the fellow researchers, policy leaders, community members, and loyal alumni. I believe that education is an antidote for all the wrongs that are preventing our nation from treading the path of prosperity. We endeavour to change the pace of conventional education through education. It may sound idealistic, but this is precisely our mission. We are driven by the belief that every child deserves a high quality education regardless of where a child is born. The rural setting should not be a deterrent in the realization of a child's dream. It is this conviction of Sant Baba Malkiat Singh Ji that led to the establishment of Sant Baba Bhag Singh Institute of Education in 2005. Now, the Institute has become a part of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University as University Institute of Education in 2015. The disparities in education and development that trouble our society are problems that we seek to solve under the aegis of University Institute of Education. In this regard, we work towards raising the level of teaching and increasing access to quality education. We are dedicated to preparing the next generation of teachers deeply grounded in values and beholding a burning passion to provide multifarious experiences to children. Our cross campus collaboration with the Sant Baba Bhag Singh University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University Institute of Sciences, University Institute of Humanities, University Institute of Commerce and Management is providing our students multiple pathways into fuller participation through civil engagement and survival learning. We value simplicity and integrity of character.
