Swasth Kavach: Health Awareness & Life-Saving Skills Workshop
All concerned students of UIAHS, UIS, and UIET are hereby informed that a Swasth Kavach Training Workshop is being organized on 23 September 2026. The workshop is jointly coordinated by the Office of Student Welfare and the Training & Placement Office, and is being organized by Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMCH), Ludhiana in collaboration with the District Red Cross Society, Hoshiarpur.
Participation of Students in "RE - Think Beyond Energy (ऊर्जामंथन)" National Renewable Energy Quiz 2026
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, in association with the National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI), is organising "RE - Think Beyond Energy (ऊर्जामंथਨ)" as part of the outreach programme of the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026 (BRES 2026). The University Grants Commission (UGC) has encouraged Higher Educational Institutions to widely publicise the event and inspire eligible students to participate in this national initiative focusing on renewable energy, climate action, and clean energy transition.
SAKHI-G: Student Awareness, Knowledge, Help & Inclusion (Orientation-cum-Awareness Programme)
An initiative to create awareness among newly admitted girl students about the student welfare services, support mechanisms, committees, and cells functioning in the University, and to familiarise them with the appropriate channels for seeking assistance whenever required.
