A warm welcome to all girl students of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University to the Office of the Deputy Director, Student Welfare (Girls). The Office is committed to creating a safe, supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment where every girl student can learn, grow, and thrive. The well-being, dignity, safety, and holistic development of our students remain at the heart of the Office's efforts.

The Office aims to serve as a supportive and facilitating platform for addressing the needs and concerns of girl students and for strengthening their participation in the academic, social, cultural, sports, and co-curricular life of the University.

Through various initiatives and coordinated efforts, the Office will focus on student safety and security, counselling and emotional well-being, health and hygiene, gender sensitisation, women’s safety and self-defence, leadership development, career awareness, scholarships and support services, and participation in sports and cultural activities.

We also encourage students to share their concerns, suggestions, and feedback. Your voice is valuable in helping us identify areas that require attention and in developing initiatives that are responsive to the needs of our students.

I invite all girl students to actively engage with the initiatives of the Office and make full use of the support and opportunities available to them.
