The Office of the Deputy Director, Student Welfare (Girls), Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, is committed to promoting the safety, dignity, well-being, inclusion and holistic development of girl students.
The Office serves as a supportive and facilitating platform for understanding student needs, addressing welfare-related concerns and strengthening the participation of girl students in the academic, social, cultural, sports and co-curricular life of the University.
The Office works in coordination with relevant University offices, cells, committees and support services to facilitate appropriate guidance, assistance and referral wherever required.
Our Objectives

• To create awareness about safety, health, hygiene and available support services.
• To encourage leadership, confidence and active student participation.
• To facilitate awareness of scholarships, career opportunities and government welfare schemes.
• To promote gender sensitisation and respect for dignity and equality.
• To provide opportunities for students to share suggestions, concerns and feedback.
• To identify student welfare issues and coordinate with the appropriate University authorities for necessary action.
