Workshop Report
Innovation and entrepreneurship are key drivers of academic progress and economic development in today’s rapidly changing world. Recognizing the importance of empowering faculty members with the expertise to convert innovative ideas into practical solutions, the Department of Civil Engineering, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, organized a One-Day Workshop on “Prototype/Process Design and Development” exclusively for faculty members (Early-Stage Entrepreneurs).
This workshop aimed to provide participants with a solid understanding of prototype creation and process development, equipping them with essential tools to conceptualize, design, and refine innovative solutions. The event served as an important platform to bridge academic research with real-world applications, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and entrepreneurial thinking across the academic community.
The primary objective of the workshop was to equip faculty members with foundational knowledge and practical skills in prototype and process design. By doing so, the event aimed to help participants transform innovative ideas into tangible outcomes and build a strong base for future entrepreneurial initiatives.

The workshop was held at the Conference Room, SBBSU Campus, and was led by the distinguished Resource Person: Mr. Lovepreet Singh Negi from the Department of Commerce, SBBSU.
