Internal Smart India Hackathon (SIH) - Event Report

Introduction
With the heavenly blessings of Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji) and the endorsement of worthy Chancellor
Sant Baba Manmohan Singh Ji, under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar (Vice Chancellor),
Mr. (Prof.) Rajinder Kumar (Registrar), and Dr. Vijay Dhir (Dean Academics), the Internal Smart India Hackathon (SIH)
was successfully organized at UIET. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 15 teams across various departments.
The hackathon provided a platform for young innovators to brainstorm, design, and showcase technological solutions to real-world challenges.
The event began with an inaugural session where jury members and faculty coordinators motivated the participants. Students worked collaboratively,
demonstrating energy and creativity as they developed prototypes within the allotted time.
After multiple evaluation rounds assessing innovation, feasibility, technical implementation, and presentation skills, the panel of judges
selected three winning teams.

🥇 1st Position — Team ITERATORS

Judges’ Feedback
After announcing the results, the judges provided constructive feedback to participating teams. Key suggestions included:
- Explain the solution more clearly and concisely.
- Include realistic real-world use cases to demonstrate applicability.
- Enhance technical details and prototype robustness.
Participants received the feedback positively and expressed eagerness to refine their projects for future competitions.
Conclusion
The Internal SIH was a grand success, providing an excellent platform for students to showcase creativity, innovation,
and technical knowledge. The event helped strengthen problem-solving and teamwork skills and served as an important stepping
stone toward preparation for the National Level Smart India Hackathon.
