Engineers Day 2025 - UIET

1. Introduction

Engineers’ Day is celebrated across India every year on 15th September to mark the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya — one of the greatest engineers and visionaries of the nation. To honor this occasion, the University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), SBBSU, Jalandhar, organized a two-day celebration on 16th and 17th September 2025.

The celebration aimed to recognise the role of engineering in nation-building and to provide students a platform to showcase creativity, technical knowledge and practical skills through a series of events. Faculty and students from across UIET participated enthusiastically.
