Extension Activity
The primary objective of this extension activity was to spread awareness about Digital Literacy among students and residents of the rural community. The session aimed to introduce the basics of using digital devices, safe internet practices, and the significance of digital skills in modern life.
The Department of Computer Science and Applications, under its community outreach initiative, organized a Digital Literacy Program at Government Primary School, Damunda, on 7th April 2025. The event saw active participation from both faculty and students of the department.

Interactive teaching aids, posters, and live demonstrations were used to make the learning process more effective and engaging.
The school staff appreciated the effort and requested more such programs in the future. Students showed enthusiasm and actively participated in the demonstrations and discussions.
The extension activity was successful in achieving its goal of spreading digital literacy. The initiative not only enriched the knowledge of the community but also provided students of the university a platform for community service and experiential learning.
