Vigilance Awareness Week
Date: 26-10-2021 to 01-11-2021
NSS and Red Ribbon Club of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar celebrated Vigilance Awareness week from 26th October to 1st November 2021 under the supervision of Honorable Chancellor, Sant Sarwan Singh Ji, Vice Chancellor Dr. Dharamjit Singh Parmar and Registrar Dr. Dhiraj Sharma. Various activities were organized every day during this week.
- Day 1, 26th October 2021 (Tuesday): Quiz competition was organized in which 40 students took part very actively. There were two sections, first was based on general questions and vigilance related questions were asked on the later part. Two teams were declared as winner.
- Day 2, 27th October 2021 (Wednesday): Essay writing competition was organized, the theme for which was “Good Governance”. 15 students participated in the event presenting their skills.
- Day 3, 28th October 2021 (Thursday): Debate competition was organized on the topic “Impact of Foreign Funding on Indian Economy”. Around 30 students participated very energetically sharing their views and ideas out of which four students were declared as winners.
- Day 4, 29th October 2021 (Friday): Poster Competition was conducted on the theme “Corruption” in which 15 students took part. The objective is to create awareness among the society regarding corruption free community and to eliminate the problem of corruption from our country.
- Day 5, 1st November 2021 (Monday): In order to Build a corruption free India, pledge was taken by 50 students.
The students declared as winners were awarded with attractive prizes and certificates.
