With the heavenly blessings of Sant Baba Dilawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji) under the supervision and patronage of Honorable Chancellor, Sant Baba Manmohan Singh Ji and Worthy Vice Chancellor, Dr. Dharamjit Singh Parmar, The Discipline of Physiotherapy, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar organized an educational tour on the behalf of world physiotherapy day at Golden Temple & Bhagat Puran Singh Pingalowara, Manawala Amritsar on 24TH September, 2024.
The tour include one-day trip to various sites of Amritsar like Golden Temple,& Bhagat Puran Singh pingalwara. An educational tour to Golden temple, Amritsar, its spiritual hub and the holiest temple in the sikh faith. The purpose of this educational tour was to gained first-hand exposure to different places, socio-cultural environments, and historical sites. Then they also visited to all India Pingalwara charitable, and Shri Rajbir Singh, principal, and trust member apprised the students about the history of pingalwara and the life history of Bhagat Puran singh ji. . The students also got the chance to visit different units of pingalwara namely, museum, special school, residential home, old-age home, prosthetic centre, and physiotherapy unit. With this in view, pingalwara is running five schools where free education provided. All the students had a great exposure and invaluable learning experience. Thus, enhancing their communication skills, sense of teamwork, and building a community among students. Dr. Jares Sahonta Assistant Professor & Class Incharge of 3rd semester, and Dr. Mandeep kaur, Assistant Professor & Class Incharge of 1st semester, and Dr. lovely Janmeet, Junior physiotherapist Discipline of Physiotherapy, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar were rejuvenated and shared their experiences in the form of reflective journal.
