International Women`s Day

With the heavenly blessings of Reverend Sant Baba Malkit Singh ji and Sant Baba Dlawar Singh ji (Brahm Ji) and benign endorsement of Honorable Chancellor, Sant Baba Manmohan Singh ji and under the guidance of worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Dharmjit Singh Parmar and able leadership of Dean Academics, Dr. Vijay Dhir and Dean UIET, Dr. Jagdeep Kaur, the department of Computer Science and Engineering celebrated “International Women`s Day” on 12th March, 2024, under the aegis of IQAC, IIC and UCA club of the department. There were 50 students and 6 faculty members, who were involved in organizing the event.
The day was celebrated to pay tribute to all the women community who play an important role in the growth of the society. The focus was to handle issues such as gender equality, and violence against women. The theme of the event was “Empowered women, empower the world". Students participated in the event by show casing their talent through speeches, Poems and quiz competitions.
