The Department of Physical Education and Sports has conducted an intramural of a sport namely CROSS COUNTRY (from university ground to petrol pump via DERA SAHIB) very successfully in which 250 students of the department of physical education has participated with its full zeal and enthusiasm.
IMPORTANCE
To conduct the intramurals is itself a great development of the entire department that students and teachers got experience of organizing different competitions in different conditions. Below are some important points that portray its necessity.
Promotes Physical Health: Intramurals encourage physical activity and exercise among students. Regular participation in sports and recreational activities helps combat sedentary lifestyles and promotes overall physical well-being.

ORGANIZATION IN SBBSU
Department of physical education (SBBSU) organized an intramural of a sport namely CROSS COUNTRY in which each and every student got the opportunity to take part. All the staff members were part of its organization and provided all the facilities to the participants like water at stations, refreshment, and security. It was a 5 kilometer run from university ground to petrol pump via DERA SAHIB in which top 7 athletes from boys and 3 from girls have been chosen as winners and every athlete has been given their respective ranks that are below mentioned:
