Seminar on “Environment Safety”

Objectives:
-To educate the students the ways and means of protecting the environment from all types of pollutions.
Highlights: Student Council, SBBSU, organized a seminar on the topic “Environment Safety”, on 06/11/2023. The resource person was Dr. Amandeep Singh, President, Social Welfare & Awareness Society, Hoshiarpur. Keeping the environment clean is vital for the health of humans and animals, nature’s biodiversity, economic well-being, and our overall quality of life. The resource person discussed the following ways to keep the environment clean:
-Refuse single-use items
-Buy locally and grow more of your own food
-Compost your food waste
-Save Energy
-Plant trees and landscape with native plants
-Conserve Water
Reduce chemical use & properly dispose waste

For the students, this expert lecture was a great learning opportunity

NCC UNIT of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University Jalandhar organized an Extension Activity in Khanaura village.
