Industrial Visit -2023

Objectives:

• To get familiarized with different electrical equipments and working of a substation.
• To study various parts of the substation and how they are operated.
• To get clear idea to read the single line diagram of power substation using different symbols used in diagrams.

• The RYB Club, Deptt of EE, SBBSU, organized an “Industrial Visit -2023” on 16th November, 2023 at 66KV Sub-Station, Marnian kalan Hoshiarpur.
• A total of 20 students and faculty members of the EE department Visit substation.
• The attendees were introduced the concept of electrical power transmission and distribution as well as working of power transformer, Current Transformer, Potential Transformer, lightning arrestor and importance of Earthing.
