Intramural Kabaddi

Sahibzada Zorawar Singh house Department of Physical Education Sant Baba Bhag Singh University hosted the Kabaddi Intramural on September 22, 2023. Students from the Physical Education Department were divided into four houses. Total eight teams (Men-4 and Women-4) were participated in this intramural. The first match was played in men section between Sahibzada Ajit Singh house and Sahibzada Fateh Singh house in which Sahibzada Ajit Singh house won by 59-53. Sahibzada Jhujar Singh house defeated Sahibzada Zorawar Singh house in the second match with 67-38. The third match was won by Sahibzada Zorawar Singh house by 38-13 over Sahibzada Fateh Singh house and got third position. Finally, the final match was played between Sahibzada Ajit Singh house and Sahibzada Jhujar Singh house, in which Sahibzada Jhujar Singh house got first place and Sahibzada Ajit Singh house second place and scoring was 60-20. Kartik from BPEd 3rd declared best Raider and Parveen Kumar from BPEd 3rd announced as best defender.
In the women section, the first match was played between Sahibzada Ajit Singh house and Sahibzada Fateh Singh house in which Sahibzada Ajit Singh house won by 28-07. Sahibzada Zorawar Singh house defeated Sahibzada Jhujar Singh house in the second match with 27-17. The third match was won by Sahibzada Jhujar Singh house by 25-07 over Sahibzada Fateh Singh house and got third position. Finally, the final match was played in Sahibzada Ajit Singh house and Sahibzada Zorawar Singh house, in which Sahibzada Ajit Singh house got first place and Sahibzada Zorawar Singh house second place and scoring was 31-05. Jyotika Romley from BPES 1st declared best Raider and Vinita from BPEd I announced as best defender.
At the end, Dr. K.P.S Mahi, Incharge intramural proposed a formal vote of thanks to the worthy Chief Guest, Er. Jagteshwar Singh (Director Placement Cell SBBSU) and all faculty members of Physical Education Department. He also congratulated the House Incharges (Dr. Manjit Kaur, AP) and (Mr. Sukhwinder Singh, AP) for successfully organizing the intramural.
