International Youth Day

Department of Physical Education of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar, organized International Youth Day celebration under the heavenly blessings of Honourable Chancellor, Sant Baba Dlawar Singh (Brahm Ji), the benign endorsement of our Chancellor Sant Baba Sarwan Singh Ji and under the supervision of Vice Chancellor, Dr. Dharamjit Singh Parmar on 12th August 2023. This was inaugurated by worthy Dr. Anju Sood (Director, IQAC) and Dr. Amarjeet Singh (HOD, Physical Education) with a welcome note by Dr. Amarjit Singh and introduced the keynote speakers and all the participants. During the celebration, Dr. Amarjeet Singh (HoD), Dr. Anju Sood (Director, IQAC) Dr. Manjit Kaur, Dr. Amarjit Singh, Ms. Shivali Rajput (Student of BPES 1st Sem.), Ms. Gurneet Kaur (Student of B.A. 1st Sem.), Mr. Manu Sharma (Student of BPES 1st Sem.) and Ms. Eisha (Student of BPEd 1st Sem.) have shared a valuable information with their speeches regarding International Youth Day. The theme of International Youth Day was “Green Skills for Youth”. The youth were encouraged to come forward to save the environment and motivation was also given to plant more trees. At the end, Dr. Amarjeet Singh (HoD), delivered a vote of thanks to our respected Dr. Anju Sood (Director, IQAC), faculty members and students for sparing their precious time from the busy schedule. Dr. Manjit Kaur and Mr. Amarjot Singh were organisers of this event.
