The International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, or World Drug Day, is marked on 26 June every year to strengthen action and cooperation in achieving a world free of drug abuse. The day is recognized to highlight the health challenges related to drug abuse and encourage combating measures like prevention, education, treatment, and rehabilitation.
IMPORTANCE
Significance of International day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking - is a day to share evidence-based data, research findings, and life-saving facts and to praise the solidarity of the people.
CELEBRATION IN SBBSU
Department of physical education (SBBSU) organized a program on 26-june, 2023 on The International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in which each and every student got the opportunity to take part in and convey a strong message of not indulging in drug abuse and related illegal habits that will definitely affect badly on the path we need to follow to protect our coming generations.
Department of physical education (SBBSU) provide an open field to the students to create their own mediums of spreading awareness among masses about how it can become a disastrous for our future and can ruin it unconsciously. The students then applied many ways to bring the messages to the people’s mind and heart which are below mentioned:

• They have made fascinating colorful charts.
• They have made paintings of different cancer patients.
• They wrote short stories of badly affected families by it.
• They performed it on stage and provide an image of its cruelty and tyranny.
• They have made groups to discuss about controlling policies and procedures.
