With the heavenly blessings of Sant Baba Dilawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji) under the supervision and patronage of Honorable Chancellor, Sant Baba Sarwan Singh Ji and WorthyVice Chancellor, Dr. Dharamjit Singh Parmar, The Discipline of Physiotherapy, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar. As a part of MOU activity, Discipline of Physiotherapy (Under the aegis of IQAC) visited to Guru Nanak Mission Medical and Educational Trust, Village & PO Dhahan Kaleran, Distt Nawanshahr on 16TH November, 2022.
The aim of this educational visit was to create awareness regarding Physiotherapy treatment & services and its role in preventing the further damages of the body. Around 20 number of students were visited to Physiotherapy OPD and X- ray room to expand their knowledge and to evaluate as well as make differential diagnosis for orthopedic conditions. They were also gone to Neuro ICU, Critical Care unit & General Wards and enhance their horizons to manage the neurological conditions and special emphasize on hypertensive cases. Along with that the assessment and treatment was also carried out for patients benefit and encouraging them to go for the physiotherapy treatment. They also explore the different kind departments as well as advanced electro modalities. Apart from physiotherapy services, their Medical Officer and Consultant Physiotherapist also explain about the future scope of physiotherapy in variety of fields and disciplines. Dr. Jares Sahonta, Assistant Professor Discipline of Physiotherapy, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar were honored with their immense contribution for visiting the hospital.
