On the Occasion of “NATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION DAY” the Environment Sustainability and Management Cell, SBBSU under the supervision of Honorable Chancellor, Sant Sarwan Singh Ji and Vice Chancellor Dr. Dharamjit Singh Parmar under the aegis of IQAC organized a “POSTER PRESENTATION” on 16th December, 2021. In order to inculcate the feeling of belongingness towards the environment, the students of various departments were motivated to prepare and present posters related to energy conservation.
The event started around 12:00 pm. To begin with, the poster presentation was initiated with a brief introduction and welcome by Dr Aksh Sharma, Coordinator of ESM Cell. She has motivated the students towards conservation of energy by emphasizing on turning off the lights when not in use. Approximately 30 students from various departments prepared and presented their posters.
The motive of this event was to provide a platform to the students to display their posters related to the theme of energy conservation. Students presented their posters and the audience delightfully appreciated the efforts of the participating students.
With a growing gap between the demand and supply of energy it becomes quite important to spread awareness among the masses to conserve the energy and use it wisely. The event was a huge success, empowering students with substantial knowledge and sensitivity towards environment. All the participants were given E-Certificates for their contribution in Poster Presentation.
