Continuing with the legacy of providing quality education to the students especially from rural areas SBBS University endeavors to organize, training programmes seminar conferences for the students in the premises of SBBS University. University Institute of Law with the heavenly blessings of Sant Baba Dilawar Singh Ji Brahm Ji, and constant motivation from Sant Baba Sarwan Singh Ji, Chancellor Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Dharamjit Singh Parmar , Mr. Hardaman Singh Minhas, Secretary, Registrar (Prof.) Dr. Vijay Dhir, Dean Academics (Prof.) Dr. Aneet Kumar, (Prof.) Dr. Ramandeep Kaur Chahal, Controller Examination, national Seminar on 'Human Rights and Criminal Justice System in India.' The programme was inaugurated by Chief Guest seminar was Former Justice Kuldeep Singh, Punjab and Haryana High Court. In his inaugural key note address former Justice appraised the students about various legal provisions related to Human Rights and Judicial System in India S. Amarjit Singh Retd. District Attorney,law, discussed in detail about the different ways how the rights of women and children are being protected. Adv. D. S. Grewal, General Secretary, Bar Association, Hoshiarpur outlined that women has equal rights in society and discussed intricate details of Procedure of Judicial System in India . It was an interactive session where the experts resolve the quarries of students. Dr Seema Garg Dy. Dean University Institute of Law and Convener of Seminar thanked all dignitaries for the gracious presence and all the members.
