One day industrial visit to Jawand sons & textile Ludhiana

One day industry trip was organized by University Institute of Humanities (Fashion Designing Department). This visit was organized on 24th March 2023 "Jawand sons & textile" Ludhiana for B.Sc. Fashion Designing semester 4th and M.sc 4th semester Students. The total strength of students is 32. The visit was organized with the prior permission and guidance of vice chancellor Dr. Dharamjit Singh Parmar and Dean academic/Dean UIH Dr. Aneet Kumar. Faculty members coordinated the visit. The session conducted were very educational and gave the students the exposure as to how the industry and the outside market work. This training is part of the learning process and helped in fulfilling the academic requirement, to bridge the gap between class room teaching and industry requirements and to get corporate exposure and professional experience. Students visit all department under one roof like(Knitting department, Weaving, Yarn Store, Stitching and Cutting Department, Printing, washing, packing and Dispatching section).
