Mock Parliament Debate

To celebrate International Women’s Day, Sant Baba Bhag Singh Legal Literacy Club, UIL has organised a Mock Parliament Debate on the issue “Women Reservation in the Political Domain”. With the aim to provide exposure to the parliament type Debate and to develop healthy habits of discipline, tolerance towards the views of others, to strengthen the roots of democracy, enhance the student’s knowledge this event was organised. The inauguration ceremony was graced with the presence of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof (Dr.) Dharamjit Singh Parmar. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Sir emphasized the importance of the parliamentary debates as the different skills that a student gains which range from not just the debating skills but also skills like time management and thinking abilities
