Workshop on “How to write a research Project”

With the heavenly blessings of Revered Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji), the benign endorsement of Sant Baba Sarwan Singh Ji (Chancellor, SBBSU), and under the able guidance of Prof. Dharamjit Singh Parmar (Vice-Chancellor, SBBSSU), under the aegis of IQAC & IIC SBBSU, Department of Physical Sciences, University Institute of Sciences has successfully conducted a one Day Workshop on “How to write a research Project ” for faculty of SBBSU on 27th May, 2020.
Resource person for this workshop was Dr Anju Sood, Associate Professor (Mathematics), SBBSU.
Dr Anju Sood, expert for the workshop is Associate Professor (Mathematics) and Dy Director IQAC, SBBSU. She has more than 10 year teaching and research experience. Her area of research included: Qualitative Analysis of solutions of differential equations and Numerical Methods.
Workshop was inaugurated by Dr Nisha Sharma, Head, Physical Sciences and has provide the significance of workshop.
There were 20 faculty members from different disciplines of Sciences such as microbiology, zoology, chemistry, mathematics, botany, physics, agriculture sciences etc as participants of the workshop. All have participated enthusiastically. All sessions of workshop were highly informative.
Dr Sood has elaborated different components for designing a research project. She has highlighted the sequential steps which have to be followed for effective drafting of a research project. Expert has provided a concrete information regarding different funding agencies for research projects as well.
There was thorough discussion session regarding drafting and finalization of a project among participants.
This workshop was conducted in two sessions and was full of knowledge and provided a guiding track to budding researchers and faculty members to submit research projects.
Conveners of the workshop have paid vote of thanks to all the delegates and participants and paid gratitude to the university authorities for providing their support in organizing the workshop.
