Intramural Cross Country

Date: 09-02-2023

The Sports and Health Fitness Club in collaboration with Department of Physical Education, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, organised an Intramural Game & Sports on February 09th, 2023. In this event, Cross Country competitions were held in which the students of Department of Physical Education Department actively participated. 157 men and 85 women athletes participated in this event and were divided into four houses. The cross country began in the evening. Men ran 6 km and women ran 3 km in this event. The inauguration of cross country was done by Dr. Jagdeep Kaur, Dean Department of Computer Application. In the competition, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh House stood first place, Sahibzada Fateh Singh House second and Sahibzada Ajit Singh House was third in men section. While Sahibzada Fateh Singh House was first, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh House second and Sahibzada Ajit Singh House was third in women section.
At the end of the event, Dr. Amarjeet Singh, proposed a formal vote of thanks to the worthy Chief Guest and all faculty members. He also congratulated the convenors of this event, Dr. K.P.S Mahi, Associate Professor and Mr. Prabhjot Singh, Assistant Professor for successfully organising the event.
