With the heavenly blessings of reverend Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Bramh Ji) and with the benign endorsement of our Chancellor, Sant Baba Sarwan Singh Ji and under the dynamic leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar, Vice-Chancellor, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, a Webinar on the topic “Emotional Intelligence” was organized by Students’ Counselling Cell, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University on February 7, 2023 through online platform. Students from various departments participated enthusiastically in the event. Dr. Mohua Khosla, Associate Professor (Retd.) Malwa Central College of Education for women, Ludhiana, Punjab, was the resource person for the webinar. She has more than 34 years of teaching experience in the field of Education. She has a Ph.D. in the field of Education from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. She has participated and presented papers in numerous national and international conferences. She has been working as a reviewer and assessor of research papers at the national and international level. She has also been supervising and guiding research dissertations at the M.Ed. and Ph.D. level. Educational Psychology, Educational Research and Statistics and Educational Measurement and Evaluation are her primary areas of research. Dr. Shaveta Sharma (Associate Professor and University Counsellor) delivered welcome address. During the event, Dr. Mohua Khosla highlighted the components of emotional intelligence. She emphasized the role of emotional intelligence in one’s life. She also gave tips for improving emotional intelligence. It was a very informative session which helped everyone imbibe knowledge about Emotional Intelligence.
The resource person thanked the organizers for arranging the webinar. Mr. Anmol Preet Pal Singh and Ms. Rajveer Kaur, Dr. Nirmal Kaur, Ms. Surinder Kaur, Er. Jagteshwar Singh, Dr. Chetna Sharma and Dr Rajwant Kaur Institute Coordinators (Students’ Counselling Cell) were also present. An interesting question and answer session was also there. We received good response from students and also they gave very good feedback. The programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Convener of the programme.
