With the heavenly blessings of Revered Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji), the benign endorsement of Sant Baba Sarwan Singh Ji (Chancellor, SBBSU) and under the able guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Dharamjit Singh Parmar (Vice-Chancellor, SBBSSU), Women Grevience & Redressal Cell, SBBSU (under the aegis of IQAC& IIC SBBSU) have successfully conducted Expert Talk on “SECURITY ISSUES & MEASURES TO EMPOWER WOMEN” on 16th November, 2022.
The resource person was Dr Sangeeta Garg, Associate Professor, Dr B.R Ambedkar Natonal Institute of Technology, Jalandhar.
Expert Talk was commenced with the welcome address by Dr Nisha Sharma, co-convener, Women Grievance Redressal Cell followed by the lamp lighting and floral welcome of the resource person by worthy Vice Chancellor Sir.
There were 132 participants from different disciplines institutes of SBBSU. Expert has highlighted the point on women literacy, various socioeconomic factors & How the molestation on the women could be stopped.
Expert has addressed different social issues related to women safety.
Lecture was highly informative. This Expert Talk was full of knowledge and a guiding tracking for women to address different aspects of women safety.
Session was concluded with the Vote of thanks by Dr..Shweta Sharma, Convener Women Grievance Redressal Cell.
