Bio-degradable Waste Management

Objective(s):

1. To educate the attendees with the difference between biodegradable waste and non-biodegradable waste.
2. The acquaint the attendees about the management of biodegradable waste

• The Electrical Engineering Department, UIET, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University (SBBSU), Jalandhar, organized an extension activity on the topic “Bio-degradable Waste Management”, on 11th May, 2022, at village Rehmapur.
• A total of 24 students from the EE department participated in the extension activity.
• The difference between bio-degradable non-biodegradable waste was discussed.
• The management of biodegradable waste including segregation, composting and landfills was also discussed
