With the heavenly blessings of Revered Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji) and with the benign endorsement of our Hon'ble Chancellor Sant Baba Sarwan Singh Ji, under the able guidance of Respected Vice-chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar, Department of Management and Hotel Management successfully organized extension activity on “Healthy and Nutritional Food Drive in a Slum Area” with the collaboration of Saheed Major Bhagat Singh Welfare and Sports Club, Gurdaspur. The activity was carried out at village Tajowal, P.O. Hukran, District Hoshiarpur on 19th May 2022.
The Faculty and Students of HMCT/ATHM highlighted the importance of nutritional food and its benefits in maintaining healthy lifestyle among the Slum dwellers. Nutritional food items such as Fruit Salad and Coleslaw Sandwiches were prepared and distributed among slum dwellers and villagers by the students of HMCT/ATHM. Club President, Sarpanch and Panchayat members were also present during the activity and appreciated the efforts of Faculty members and students of Hotel Management, SBBSU.
