Workshop on “Industrial Automation- Scope & Future”

The RYB Club, Deptt of EE, SBBSU, organized a workshop on “Industrial Automation- Scope & Future”, on 19th October, 2022. The resource person was, Ms. Harsween Kaur, Director, Wonder Systems India Pvt. Ltd, Mohali. A total of 65 students of ME an EE department attended the workshop. Participants were introduced to the S7-Micro/win software. Logic gates including AND, OR, NOT, NAND NOR were implemented through ladder logic programming using Siemens S7-200 (CPU-ST20) PLC. Furthermore, hardware implementation of the logic gates was done using NO and NC switches. The workshop was a wonderful learning experience for all the attendees.
