Extension Activity on Women Empowerment

Objectives:
-To educate the students the significance of women's empowerment
-To acquaint the students about the various women's empowerment schemes in India
Highlights:
The Electrical Engineering Department, UIET, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University (SBBSU), Jalandhar, organized an extension activity on the topic “Women Empowerment” on 2nd November, 2022, at Lyallpur Khalsa Collegiate Sr. Secondary School, Sham Chaurasi, Hoshiarpur. A total of 5 students and one faculty member organized the activity. The activity was coordinated by Er. Mandip Singh (Assistant Professor, EE) and five students of the department. The girl students were introduced to the to the importance of women's empowerment and the schemes that are available in India.
