The Department of Management and Hotel Management of University Institute of Commerce and Management, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar has organized a Guest Lecture on the “Awareness about Stock Market”, on 19th October, 2022 in the presence of Dr. Ramandeep Kaur Chahal Dean University Institute of Commerce and Management, Ms. Inderpreet Kaur COD, Department of Management, all Faculty Members and students.
Mr. Ramandeep Singh, Assistant Professor, GNA University was the Resource Person of the day. The lecture started with the introduction of Stock Market. He has shared valuable information about Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange. Mr. Ramandeep Singh held a practical session with students regarding how they can invest their money in risk free resources and get good return. Students were told about topics like financial planning, compound interest, rule 72 calculator, blue chip companies.
In the last session Ms. Inderpreet Kaur delivered a vote of thanks to the speaker Mr. Ramandeep Singh for sharing his valuable knowledge and expertise with the students.
