Seed Treatment Camp at Manko Village

With the Heavenly Blessings of Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji, and under the supervision and patronage of Hon’ble Chancellor Sant Baba Sarwan Singh Ji and Worthy Vice Chancellor Dr. Dharmjit Singh Parmar , Department of Agriculture organized Agriculture Extension Program cum seed treatment camp at Manko Village on 19-10-2022 under the guidance of Dr. Shalu, In charge of Promotional activites, and Professor Dr. P. S. Tyagi, supported by entire faculty. During this program Dr. Tyagi gave detailed information to farmers regarding seed treatment before sowing of crop, its need and importance. Dr. Shalu demonstrated the seed treatment technique to the farmers by using various agricultural chemicals like insecticides, termiticides, fungicides and bio-fertilizers.
The village farmers showed great enthusiasm in the training program and asked many questions regarding agricultural crop problems being faced by them. They were assured that Department of Agriculture SBBSU will help them in solving their problems by organizing more extension activities from time to time. Vice Chancellor Sir appreciated the efforts of Agriculture Department for successful organization of the seed treatment program.

Department of Physical Education organized adventure cum education tour held at Jari, Kasol (H.P) on dated 08/03/2024 to 10/03/2024.The tour departure from Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Khiala, Jalandhar at 10:00pm Night and arrival The Bharat Scout & Guide Camp Jari, Kasol at 08:30am.Total no of Students 47, (Boys 34, Girls 13) and 07 teachers were part of this tour.......
