Crop Residue Management Awareness Campaign

Stubble burning is a burning issue of present time as it greatly increases environmental pollution and deteriorate soil health. Punjab Government issues instructions to avoid stubble burning from time to time. With the heavenly blessings of Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji, Chancellor of the University Sant Baba Sarwan Singh Ji and Vice Chancellor Dr. Dharmjit Singh Parmar, Department of Agriculture, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University organized “Crop Residue Management Awareness Campaign”. During this campaign students and teachers highlighted the burning issue of stubble burning among the farmers of the nearby villages. The students of all classes assembled in front of library and started a march to the nearby villages including Arhiana Kalan. All the faculty members of the Department accompanied the students to maintain discipline. The rally ended in front of Block No.5 with blessings from Sant Baba Sarwan Singh Ji and appreciation from Management member S. Pritpal Singh Ji and V.C. Sir.

Department of Physical Education organized adventure cum education tour held at Jari, Kasol (H.P) on dated 08/03/2024 to 10/03/2024.The tour departure from Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Khiala, Jalandhar at 10:00pm Night and arrival The Bharat Scout & Guide Camp Jari, Kasol at 08:30am.Total no of Students 47, (Boys 34, Girls 13) and 07 teachers were part of this tour.......
