Extension Activity on Electrical Safety at Home

Objectives:

• To provide an understanding of the principles of electricity and the electrical hazards associated with it.
• To educate the students about safety measures to prevent physical hazards and health injuries associated to electricity.

• The Electrical Engineering Department, UIET, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University (SBBSU), Jalandhar, organized an extension activity on the topic Electrical Safety at Home on 23rd May, 2022.
• A total of 40 students from the EE department participated in the extension activity.
• Imparted knowledge of the fundamentals of electricity, the risks associated with it and the precautions to take in order to avoid any physical risks.
