Celebration of Nutrition Month by Expert Lecture on “Nutrition and Women’s Health”

With the heavenly blessings of Revered Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji) and with the benign endorsement of our Chancellor Sant Baba Sarwan Singh ji, under the able guidance of respected Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar , and under the aegis of IQAC, Gender Champion Scheme Implementation Committee has celebrated Nutrition Month on 22nd September 2022 by organizing an Expert Lecture on Nutrition and Women’s Health by eminent speaker and Doctor, Dr. Karnail Singh, from Puran Hospital.

• Nutrition Month is celebrated to make people aware about their food habits and importance of physical activity.
• Girl Students from various departments have participated enthusiastically in the event. The count of gathering was more than 100.
• Event begun with welcome speech of Ms. Surinder Kaur Grewal, Department of English. She shared the significance of Nutrition for Women’s health and also encouraged the students to interact with the Guest.
• Students from various departments come up with their problems. They asked question regarding personal health care, PCOD problem, skin diseases, mental health etc. Their queries were satisfied by Dr. Karnail Singh.
• The function ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. Ramandeep Kaur Chahal. A memento was presented to the Speaker by the Gender Champion Committee. All the members Ms. Ramanpreet Kaur, Ms. Kuljeet Kaur, Dr. Vivek were present in the hall. This was a successful event with the cooperation of all the members of Gender Champion Committee.
