With the heavenly blessings of Revered Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji) and with the benign endorsement of our Chancellor Sant Baba Sarwan Singh ji, and under the valuable guidance of respected Vice Chancellor of SBBSU Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar, “Teeyan da Tayohar” become a successful event. To make this event successful, each team members have worked with great efforts.
The event was embarked with the Shabad Gagan. After that Lamp was lightened by Sant Baba Sarwan Singh ji (Chancellor of the University) along with Prof. (Dr.) Paramjit Singh Parmar (Vice-Chancellor of the University), Mr. Hardaman Singh (Secretary of the University), Dr. Indu Sharma (Registrar of the University), Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Dhir (Director of IQAC Cell), Dr. Aneet Kumar(Dean Academics of the University) and Management Members of the university, S. Gian Singh and S. Joginder Singh. The event was continued with the various cultural events that were Solo Folk Song, Group Song (Tappe), Solo Dance, Group Dance, Haryanvi Dance, Himachali Dance, modelling and Punjabi Folk Dance: Giddha. At last, the prizes were given to the winners. Special titles: Teeyan di Rani, Runner Up 1, Madak Muteyar di, sohna hassa, sohna pehrava, sohni tor, tohar miteyar di, given to the modelling students. Along this, ‘Turban Tying Competition’ was also held in the Seminar Hall for the boys.
The event was closed with thanks of vote from the stage handlers.
