Thal Sena Camp

One day Thal Sena selection camp conducted by NCC Jalandhar Group Headquarter held at Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, in which the cadets are selected from 5 Battalions. The cadets from different Colleges and Universities (5 from SBBSU) participated in this camp. There was a healthy competition among the cadets. The selected cadets are sent to pre-TSC for the preparation of further directorate level competitions.
At first, the cadets were given a chance to participate in the obstacles and firing in which cadets show full enthusiasm. Strength and speed make all the difference between the cadets. The cadets gain a lot of knowledge and self-confidence, team work and leadership qualities. During this camp the Commanding officers of 8 PB. BN. NCC Unit Phagwara Col NS Sidhu motivate the cadets to participate in such kind of events in future also. Commanding Officer 2 PB BN NCC Unit Jalandhar Col NPS Toor and ANO of SBBSU Lt. Jagjeet Singh were also present.
In the final Phase, Jalandhar group commander Brigadier IS Bhalla awarded the winner cadets of firing and obstacle training competitions. Cadet Jaspreet Singh from SBBSU cored second position in firing and cadet Priya from SBBSU scored first position in obstacle training competitions.
