The University Institute of Humanities (Under the aegis of IQAC), organized a special lecture on 27th June 2022, on, “An Inclusive Environment” ( Tolerance and Harmony in Cultural Diversities, Regional, Linguistics, Cultural and Communal Diversities).
Dr. Harpreet Singh, Assistant Professor of Punjabi, welcomed the worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar , Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar, and all the faculty members and students. The esteemed guest invited for the lecture was none other than Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar. With lucid examples he highlighted the fact that no religion talks of any discrimination on any extraneous factor. He gave a detailed description on environment in which everyone associates with others, and no one is separated from anyone else; which means there is a natural order of cohesion in the universe. He enlightened the students and asked them to explore the relationships among course material, personal and social experiences. Dr. Aneet Kumar, Dean Academics, Dean UIE & UIH, proposed a vote of thanks at the end of the session.
