No Vehicle Day on Saturday

Sant Baba Bhag Singh University observed ‘No Vehicle Day’ under the aegis of IQAC and MoE-IIC on 25th June, 2022 (Saturday). During the event, Dr. Dharmjit Singh Parmar, Vice-Chancellor of the Sant Baba Bhag Singh University informed that the University shall observe ‘No Vehicle Day’ on every Saturday under Green Campus Initiative to promote road safety, lessen vehicular pollution, reduce the traffic congestion and road accident, and decrease both the energy consumption and carbon emission. All officers, employees and students came to their offices as pedestrians or via bicycle or by a public (or the University) transport service on Saturday. No Vehicle Day’s main objective is to sensitize people for environment conservation and to address the problems related to pollution, global warming, and climate change.
