Awareness Camp on "Contributions of Science in sustainable future"

On 3rd March,2022, Department of Physical Sciences (Under the aegis of IQAC and in collaboration with Dashmesh Youth Club, Bagewal Gujjran, Hoshiarpur have conducted an awareness compaign in SBBSU' adopted village Manko with the theme entitled" Contributions of Science in sustainable future". Aim of this activity is to provide awareness regarding various aspects and contribution of science in sustainable development. During awareness drive: Students and faculty of Physical Sciences make people aware about need and importance of sustainable development. Provided awareness regarding harmful effects of plastics, Management of plastic waste and segregation of plastic waste. They have stressed to shift toward use of jute, fabric bags to minimize use of single use plastics. Recycling of waste plastic to usable articles such as flower pots, plastic bricks have also been demonstrated. Students also have discussed harmful effects of radiations, preventive measures from exposure to radiations as well. Audience have highly appreciated the efforts of students and faculty of SBBSU for organizing such type of awareness camp.

Department of Physical Education organized adventure cum education tour held at Jari, Kasol (H.P) on dated 08/03/2024 to 10/03/2024.The tour departure from Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Khiala, Jalandhar at 10:00pm Night and arrival The Bharat Scout & Guide Camp Jari, Kasol at 08:30am.Total no of Students 47, (Boys 34, Girls 13) and 07 teachers were part of this tour.......
