Awareness Program on Disaster Management

Department of Civil Engineering, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar organized an extension activity in the form of “Awareness Program on “Disaster Management” in collaboration with NGO (SOCIAL WELFARE AND AWARENESS SOCIETY HOSHIARPUR) and Village Davida Ahirana, Jalandhar Punjab on 24/05/2022. Department of Civil Engineering showed great enthusiasm in interacting with the peoples of the village and tell the ways how to save the peoples and make aware the people about disaster. The students of are university explained preventive measures if disaster were happened in the village and made them understand about Disaster Management. Department of Civil Engineering, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar were honoured with Appreciation award for his immense contribution in conducting the event. Nearly 50 plus peoples participated in this activity.
Members of the NGO, SOCIAL WELFARE AND AWARENESS SOCIETY and people of the village were appreciated the event which is organised and expressed hope that such events will be carried out in future as well.

Department of Physical Education organized adventure cum education tour held at Jari, Kasol (H.P) on dated 08/03/2024 to 10/03/2024.The tour departure from Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Khiala, Jalandhar at 10:00pm Night and arrival The Bharat Scout & Guide Camp Jari, Kasol at 08:30am.Total no of Students 47, (Boys 34, Girls 13) and 07 teachers were part of this tour.......
