Ru-B-Ru Series Ajmer Sidhu

The Department of Punjabi (UIH), organised a special lecture on 04 May, 2022 in continuation of the series Ru-B-Ru. The famous Punjabi story writer, Ajmer Sidhu was invited as an esteemed guest. Dr. Harpreet Singh (Assistant Professor in Punjabi) and Dr. Mandeep Singh (Associate Professor in Punjabi) were conveners of this event. Dr Harpreet Singh introduced the guest and Dr. Mandeep Singh accorded formal welcome to all those present. Sh. Kewal Ram, Research Scholar presented a paper on Ajmer Sidhu’s life , literature and awards. Ajmer Sidhu is well known Punjabi author, especially known for his stories. He narrated his life experiences to the students and tried to motivate them. His personal experiences of social, economic, educational, cultural and professional spheres have great emphasis on his literature. All the faculty members of different departments were present throughout and the lecture was attended by 90 participants. Dr. Anita Rani and Dr. Sangeeta (Assistant Professor in Department of Punjabi, UIH) proposed a vote of thanks at the end of the session. Total 55 students participated in this event.
