Guest Lecture on Taxation

The Department of Management (UICM) of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar has Organized Guest Lecture on Taxation on 23rd April 2022 with the presence of honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. Dharamjit Singh Parmar, Dr. Ramandeep Chahal Dean UICM, Dr. Seema Garg Dean UIL, all Faculty Members and students. Ms. Kuljeet Kaur (Assistant Professor in Department of Management) inaugurated the session by inviting the worthy speaker Dr. Gauri Dhir, Assistant Professor in Mittal School of Business Studies in Lovely Professional University Jalandhar, Punjab. The students of BBA, MBA, B.COM, M.COM taken active participation in the guest lecture.

Dr. Gauri Dhir, Assistant Professor in Mittal School of Business Studies in Lovely Professional University Jalandhar, Punjab was the Resource Person for this guest lecture. Dr. Gauri discussed various aspects of Taxation which is applicable in India like Direct tax Indirect tax along with GST. She also described various levels of GST like CGST,IGST,SGST and its applicability. Dr. Gauri also handled queries of students regarding taxation.

In the last session, Ms. Neha (Assistant Professor in Department of Management) delivered a vote of thanks to respected speaker Dr. Gauri Dhir for sharing her valuable knowledge and expertise with the students.
