Group Discussion Programme on topic of Joint Family versus Nuclear Family

On 29th March 2022, University Institute of Law organized a departmental group discussion programme on the topic of “Joint Family Versus Nuclear Family”. Under the able guidance of Sant Baba Bhag Singh Legal Literacy Club& Dean/ HOD Dr. Seema Garg, Mr. Rajat Sharma & Ms. Navneet Kaur were given the responsibility to monitor this events success. Heeding to such assignment both faculty members made announcement of the event in every class through verbal communication& Circulars. In pursuant to such circular interested students were instructed to provide three names from each semester, which later on merged as one team from each semester. Participating teams were familiarized with the guidelines of group discussion programme & were instructed to adhere the same in strict manner.

On the day of event team from B.A LL. B 8th& 10thwas given the opportunity to kickstart the group discussion. Where B.A LL. B 8th semester team bestowed their opinion in favor of Joint Family and on the contrary B.A LL. B 10th semester choose to casted their interest in favor of Nuclear Family itself. After the completion of two rounds each team validated their opinions on respective topics and same process applied in case of B.A LL. B 6th& 4th semester.

At the end of the programmeDean/HOD Dr. Seema Garg, UIL Choose Ankit Sharma from B.A LL. B 8th semester who spoke in favor of Joint Family as a best speaker and winner of group discussion B.A LL. B 4th. In the end Dean/HOD Dr. Seema Garg graciously congratulated each participating teams & shared her wisdom of knowledge with students. The propaganda behind organizing such event was to nurture student’s skills in terms of articulation, observation and number of other things.
