Inter-institute Mushaira Competition

The Student Council of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University (SBBSU), Jalandhar, organized an Inter-institute Mushaira Competition on the theme “MERA WATAN MERA CHAMAN” as a part of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahaotsav”, on 15th March, 2022, There were five teams in total, one from each institute, with two participants in each team. The judging panel consisted of three judges including Mr. Abhinav Sharma (Assistant Professor, English), Dr. Sandeep Kumar Chandel (CoD & Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering), Mr. Rajat Sharma (Assistant Professor, Law).

The students enthusiastically participated and remembered the sacrifices made by the great freedom fighters through their poetry and couplets. In the end, the most exciting and thrilling battle was won by University Institute of Sciences (UIS). The second position was achieved by University Institute of Engineering & Technlogy (UIET) whereas the third position was grabbed by University Institute of Education (UIE). Overall, the Mushaira Competition was a huge success.
