Intellectual Property Rights: Laws and Practice

To make the students familiar with the concept of Intellectual Property Laws and to give a better understanding of the practical aspect of Intellectual Property Rights Laws Sant Baba Bhag Singh Legal Literacy Club, University Institute of law, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar under the Aegis of IQAC organized Expert Lecture on “Intellectual Property Rights: Laws and Practice” . Ms Renuka, Assistant Professor, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar was the speaker. The session started with a brief introduction of the speaker. The guest speaker provided basic knowledge on the concepts of Patent, Copyright, Trademark, Geographical Indication and Design with wonderful examples and provided important insights into the concept of Infringement of IPR and also protection of IPR in other countries and how it differs in India.The session ended with a vote of thanks to the speaker.
