International Women’s Day 2022

With the heavenly blessings of Revered Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji) and with the benign endorsement of our Chancellor Sant Baba Sarwan Singh ji, able guidance of respected Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar, Department of Physical Sciences (under the aegis of IQAC), celebrated International Women’s Day 2022 to recognize the contribution of Women’s in society and in sustainable development. On this occasion, Department of Physical Sciences have organized two activities: i.e. Declamation and Collage making Event was began by welcome speech by students of B.Sc Non Medical 6th sem. In declamation, students from different disciplines have participated. Contribution of Women’s in different sectors of society have been highlighted such as Science & technology, Medical sector, financial sector, administrative sector as well as politics. Special emphasis was given on status and achievements of some eminent Indian women’s such as Kiren Bedi, Indira Gandhi, Mrs Nirmala Sitaraman, Mother Terasa. In 2nd activity, students of B.Sc Non Medical , B.Sc Hons. Chemistry, B.Sc CS have presented their aesthetic and photography skills through clicking picture in SBBSU campus and presented them in the form of collage. Students have presented their creativity beautifully and have dedicated it to all teachers.Dr. Mithu Maiti Jana, Co-coordinator (Department of Physical Sciences) had shared valuable information and significance celebration of this day with students. She had motivated students to excel in life their respective fields. Dr Nisha Sharma Coordinator (Department of Physical Sciences) had also shared her experiences with faculty and students.
