4-Year B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (AI and ML) with Optional IBM Certification

Programme-Overview:

The B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (AI and ML) program focuses on the design, development, and implementation of intelligent software and systems. Pursuing this program at Sant Baba Bhag Singh University (SBBSU) gives students an extra edge through specialized training in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), along with an optional IBM Certification for enhanced industry readiness.
This program encourages students to apply their analytical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities while gaining a strong foundation in both computer science principles and modern AI technologies. Students learn to develop intelligent applications, automate processes, and harness data-driven decision-making—preparing them for a successful career in the fast-growing fields of AI, ML, and Data Science.

Eligibility & Fee Details

Eligibility:

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology / Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies.
Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme to SC/ST Students

The post matric Scholarship to SC/ST students will be available to those students whose family income is less than 2.5 lacs per annum. The students will have to submit three sets of the following documents at the time of admission:

  • Attested affidavit regarding income to be submitted by student's father/guardian only.
  • Domicile certificate
  • Caste certificate issued by competent authority ; ADC/SDM/EM/Tehsildar.
  • Photostat copies of matric certificate and last examination passed.
  • Photocopy of Aadhaar card of student and parents
  • A copy of bank account of claimant,linked to Aadhaar card and with IFSC code.
  • One passport size photograph.

If a student fail to fulfill the following conditions, he will have to pay all the fee from his/her own resources for the period of their study at the university:

The student does not complete his/her course of study at the university and leaves in between. OR
The student does not attend 75% of the lectures in all subjects. OR
The student does not pass an examination of any semester.
Note:
  • Claimant/ student is herself/himself responsible for applying online for SC Scholarship by last date notified by university every year. The university will only facilitate the students in applying online. The students who fails to apply for Scholarship online by the stipulated date, will have to deposit the fee.
  • Student who after passing one stage of education get admission in the same stage of education in different subjects will not be eligible for post matric Scholarship scheme to SC/ST students.
  • If the Scholarship is not sanctioned by the government even after applying for the same, the student will have to deposit the full fee.

Sikh Human Development Foundation (SHDF), USA Scholarship

The Sikh Human Development Foundation (SHDF), USA Scholarship is a need-cum-merit scholarship offered to deserving and economically weaker students of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University by the SHDF, USA. Sikh Human Development Foundation (SHDF), USA Scholarship. Sikh Human Development Foundation (SHDF) provides scholarships in a variety of disciplines for higher professional education to bright students from low-income families in Punjab and other Northern Indian states.

Eligible students will be notified by the University regarding the opening of the scholarship application process. Eligible students are required to submit their applications along with the following mandatory documents:

  1. Income Certificate (annual family income not exceeding ₹3,00,000)
  2. Residence Certificate
  3. Detailed Marks Card (DMC) of the previous qualifying examination
  4. Copy of Class 10 Certificate
  5. Copy of Class 12 Certificate
  6. Copy of Graduation Degree/Certificate (where applicable)
  7. Any other document required

Applications submitted without the requisite documents or after the prescribed deadline shall not be considered for the scholarship.

Off-Line

  • Receive prospectus from the University campus on payment of Rupees 1000/- (Cash or Demand draft in the name of SBBS University)
  • Fill the application form given in the prospectus.
  • Attach self-attested copies of the documents.
  • Submit the completed Admission Form to SBBSU admission desk.
  • Admission desk will check the eligibility of the students.
  • Deposit requisite fee as mentioned in the prospectus only if eligible.

On-Line

  • Click online registration and fill the Form carefully.
  • Upload requisite documents.
  • Deposit registration fee.
  • Admission desk will check the eligibility of the students.
  • Admission desk will send confirmation through email.
