"One-Day Seminar on National Startup Day"

A one-day seminar on National Startup Day was organised by the Department of Fashion Designing under the Institution Innovation Council (IIC). The theme of the seminar was "Innovative Fashion Startups and Sustainability in Fashion Startups." The seminar aimed to provide valuable insights into the dynamics of fashion entrepreneurship and innovation, with a particular focus on sustainable practices within the fashion startup ecosystem.
The session was conducted by Ms. Barun Kaur Maan, a renowned fashion designer, model, choreographer, fashion show choreographer, fashion stylist, RJ at Akashwani Jalandhar, and anchor at DD Punjabi (Jalandhar Doordarshan). Ms. Maan, with her extensive experience in the fashion industry, shared her expertise on various aspects of fashion startups, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
During the seminar, Ms. Maan showcased successful fashion startups through a video, offering practical examples of innovative business models and sustainable practices. The session inspired students to explore opportunities in fashion entrepreneurship, leaving them with valuable insights into the industry and its startup ecosystem, while stimulating creativity and a deeper understanding of the entrepreneurial landscape.
